Concept

Il legno, elemento principale dell'attività svolta all'interno dell'edificio, è trasportato all'esterno per dare nuova vita all'intero fabbricato. La nuova pelle scandisce la facciata rispettando i vecchi allineamenti ma conferendole omogeneità ed eleganza. La funzione estetica dell'intervento è valorizzata dalla prestazione di schermatura solare e da meccanismi di apertura appositamente studiati che riescono a dare movimento alla facciata.

Wood, the main element representing the activity carried out in the building, is brought outside giving new life to the entire premises. The “new skin” marks the façade respecting the old alignments while conferring it homogeneity and elegance. The aesthetic function of the intervention is enhanced by the performance of solar shading and by custom designed opening mechanisms able to give movement to the façade.
