Concept

L’epoca di costruzione dell’edificio principale risale alla metà degli anni 50, con corpo di fabbrica regolare, simmetria nelle aperture e copertura a padiglione. Caratteristiche che sono state smontate da un’opera di ampliamento costruita negli anni 70. Il progetto è stato improntato nella ricerca di una nuova armonia tra le due parti dell’edificio, questa trovata attraverso la realizzazione di una pelle architettonica in legno lungo una porzione di facciata che ne definisce ed esalta i due elementi creando quindi un legame nella diversità.

The main building dates back to the mid-50’s, with a regular construction shape, symmetry in the openings and a pavilion roof. Such features have been dismantled by extension works of the 70’s. The project’s aim was the search for a new harmony between the two parts of the building, harmony found through a wooden architectural skin along a portion of the façade defining and enhancing the two building elements thus creating a link in diversity.
